Boy, 15, turns self in, charged with murder in deadly NYC subway shooting: cops
[NYPost] A 15-year-old boy turned himself in to face a murder charge in the wild, gang-related Bronx subway shooting that killed an innocent bystander and wounded five other people last month, cops and sources said Monday.

The teen — who was not identified because he is a minor — showed up at the 44th Precinct Sunday afternoon and was also charged with five counts of attempted murder and one count of criminal possession of a weapon, cops and sources said.

The boy is the third person to be charged in connection to the deadly gunfire that erupted around 4:40 p.m. Feb. 12, taking the life of Obed Beltran-Sanchez, 35, at the Mount Eden subway station, cops said.

A 15-year-old boy turned himself into police for a Bronx subway shooting in February that killed on person and left five others injured. 5

A 16-year-old gangbanger, Langel Jones, was the first person cuffed — picked up days after the shooting, police said.

Jones is a purported member of the violent DBlock gang, named for Davidson Avenue, whose members were tied into a beef with the Burnside gang in a feud stemming from "drill rap and disrespect," NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny previously told reporters at a media briefing.

The gang feud ultimately boiled over when the two crews just happened to get on the same train at different stops.

In mid-March, a 14-year-old boy who was also wounded in the burst of violence was arrested and charged with four counts of attempted murder and one count of criminal possession of a weapon, cops said.

The boy was also nabbed in connection to a Jan. 15 shooting, also in the Bronx — which authorities previously said stemmed from the same gang feud and may have sparked the subway incident.

As the gunfight spilled out of the train, Sanchez — who was not involved — made the mistake of looking out onto the platform to see what the commotion was about, Kenny said at the time.

He lay dying on the ground as people "just walked past him," the police official added.

Sudanese army repulses RSF attack in North Kordofan State
[SUDANTRIBUNE] The Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) on Sunday repelled an attack by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on El Obeid, the capital of North Kordofan state.

The attack, eyewitnesses said, resulted in heavy casualties and destruction of military vehicles

For the past three days, the RSF reportedly amassed forces from Darfur in an attempt to capture El Obeid and defeat the city’s 5th Infantry Division.

Eyewitnesses interviewed by Sudan Tribune claim the RSF launched a two-pronged attack from the north and west, with additional forces arriving from the Barra and Nahud roads. The attack targeted residential areas including Unit neighborhoods, Squares 12 and 13, and the Taiba neighborhood. Intense fighting erupted, lasting over three hours, before the army repelled the offensive.

According to eyewitnesses, the RSF suffered significant losses during the attack.

Videos posted by Sudanese army platforms allegedly show destroyed and captured RSF vehicles, exceeding 10. The videos also reportedly depict family members of RSF soldiers.

The RSF, positioned in the city’s western 13th district, responded with Katyusha rocket attacks, killing at least two civilians according to medical sources.

The Sudanese army retaliated with airstrikes using barrel bombs on the RSF positions launching the rocket attacks.

El-Obeid, a strategically important city linking Kordofan and Darfur, has been a target for the RSF since the conflict began. The army has reportedly successfully defended the city against previous RSF attempts to seize control.

The paramilitary group currently encircles El-Obeid after taking control of Al-Rahd and Um Rowaba localities on the main road connecting North Kordofan and White Nile State. They have also reportedly cut off the road between North and South Kordofan by seizing the Al-Quz locality in South Kordofan.

This siege has reportedly caused shortages of essential goods and medicine in El-Obeid, worsening the living conditions for residents.

Protests against U.S. military presence in Niger continue
[AFRICANEWS] Hundreds of people demonstrated on Sunday in Northern Niger calling for the immediate departure of the 1,000 American troops based there.

The demos happen even as the the U.S. say it will begin plans to withdraw troops from Niger.

A U.S. official said there was no timeline for withdrawal besides talks set to start in the coming days about next steps. The official spoke on condition of anonymity to detail the private diplomatic discussions. An American delegation to coordinate the details of the withdrawal process will be dispatched soon.

Niger plays a central role in the U.S. military’s operations in Africa’s Sahel region, an area on the edge of the Sahara Desert. Washington is concerned about the spread of jihadi violence, where local groups have pledged allegiance to al-Qaida and the Islamic State groups. Niger is home to a major U.S. air base, in the city of Agadez, about 920 kilometers (550 miles) from the capital, Niamey, using it for manned and unmanned surveillance flights and other operations. The U.S. has also invested hundreds of millions of dollars in training Niger’s military since it began operations there in 2013.

But relations have frayed between Niger and Western countries since mutinous soldiers ousted the country’s democratically elected president in July. Niger’s junta has since told French forces to leave and turned instead to Russia for security. Earlier this month, Russian military trainers arrived to reinforce the country’s air defenses and with Russian equipment to train Nigeriens to use.

There was an attempt on the behalf of the U.S. to revise the military agreement with Niger that would allow them to stay, U.S. officials told the AP. But the agreement between Zeine and Campbell shows that the effort has failed.

Mali: More than 110 civilians kidnapped by ''suspected jihadists''
[AFRICANEWS] Local groups and an official in Mali are calling for the release of more than 110 people kidnapped by suspected jihadists some 6 days ago.

They told the AFP news agency that three buses carrying the civilians were stopped by the group of men in the centre of the country and forced to head towards a forest between Bandiagara and Bankass.

An elected official from Bandiagara, who asked to remain anonymous for security reasons, says the buses and passengers are still being held captive.

Since 2012, Mali has been plagued by fighting between different factions affiliated to al-Qaeda and the Islamic State

NYPD cops in riot gear arrest dozens of NYU students, faculty at pro-Hamas encampment on campus before mob marches on NYPD headquarters
[NYPOST] The NYPD began arresting dozens of student and faculty protestors at New York University Monday night where anti-Israel demonstrators had earlier set up a "Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
Solidarity" encampment, according to the college’s newspaper.

The cops in riot gear cuffed the protesters — who are demanding NYU divest from holdings tied to Israel over the ongoing violence in Gaza — with zip ties and led them to police buses that had arrived near the campus hours earlier, the university’s student-run newspaper Washington Square News reported.

Moments earlier, police blasted a message over a megaphone, ordering the protesters to disperse or face arrest for trespassing, according to the newspaper.
Courtesy of Skidmark, the Daily Mail has photos and videos of what happened next:
Anti-Israel protestors armed with flares and Palestinian flags marched towards the headquarters of the NYPD only hours after officers wearing riot gear stormed an NYU protest 'Gaza Solidarity' encampment protest on Monday night.

More than 100 students, staff and faculty members were arrested by police after ignoring warnings to vacate the plaza where the protest was being held.

But those who finally left had other ideas with the mob reconvening in another march - this time through New York's Chinatown and One Police Plaza the HQ of the NYPD.

The streets were lit up in bright orange while holding flares in the air as marchers waved flags and carried anti-Israel signs and banging drums and blowing whistles as they walked downtown.

Those carrying flares could be heard chanting 'Gaza' - while also being careful to wear face masks so as to conceal their true identity.

Only hours earlier on the NYU campus in Greenwich Village, police officers in riot gear were forced to use zip ties to detain protesters, marching them onto police buses after warnings to leave the area were ignored.
That protest encampment thingy is all the rage on American college campuses at the moment, according to the Times of Israel:
Pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel protest encampments are springing up at several US universities following unrest around mass student demonstrations at Columbia University in recent weeks amid the ongoing war in Gaza.

Tent encampments could be seen on campuses including New York University, MIT, Tufts University and Emerson College, according to social media posts and local news reports.

An encampment at Emerson College is reportedly positioned next to the campus Hillel branch, where many Jewish students are expected to visit for the Passover holiday tonight.
They give extra points for extra harassing of The Joooos, donchaknow.
At MIT, students take part in Muslim prayers next to a tent encampment, protesting what they say it the university’s failure to call for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. They are also calling on MIT to cut ties with Israel’s military, amid the war ongoing in Gaza since Hamas’s October 7 massacre.

On the other side of the country, social media posts show tent encampments at the University of California, Berkley and the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

AOC Praises ‘Peaceful' Anti-Israel Protesters Causing Chaos On Ivy League Campuses
[Daily Caller] Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez praised the "peaceful" anti-Israel protesters causing chaos on Ivy League campuses during a Monday event celebrating Earth Day.

Students across Ivy League campuses have launched chaotic protests against the Israel-Hamas war, leading to arrests and clashes between protesters and law enforcement. Police arrested over 40 pro-Palestinian protesters at Yale University Sunday after they refused to disband their encampment on campus. Over 100 were taken into custody at Columbia University during Thursday’s demonstration, the New York Post reported.

"It is especially important that we remember the power of young people shaping this country today, of all days, as we once again witness the leadership of those peaceful, student-led protests on campuses like Columbia, Yale, Berkeley and many others," Ocasio-Cortez said.

Elite schools turning into Hamas University as antisemitism runs rampant
[NYP] The United States’ top institutions and assets for higher education are being lost to extremists.

At the University of Pennsylvania, we are no longer known as the birthplace of the mRNA vaccine or the computer. Any quick Google search over the past six months will find that our university has been overrun by extremists who hate America, hate Israel and hate Jews.

Columbia University has devolved from the birthplace of more than 100 Nobel laureates to a war zone where Jewish students have been advised to go home.

Students across the country glorify the first woman to hijack an airplane, Leila Khaled, rather than the women who graduated from their own universities.

Students and faculty are at the center of this unfortunate fall from grace.

On Oct. 7, while Hamas was brutally murdering, raping and kidnapping innocent civilians in southern Israel, Penn professor Huda Fakhreddine tweeted in Arabic: "while we were asleep, Palestine reinvented a new way of life" and reposted "armed struggle by the Palestinian resistance against the occupier is legal under international law."

11 terrorists killed in DI Khan, North Waziristan operations
[GEO.TV] At least 11 bad boyz were potted in two separate operations in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Dera Ismail Khan
... the Pearl of Pashtunistan...
and North Wazoo, a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Monday.

According to the communique, the military’s media wing said the security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in DI Khan sanctuaries bases on the reported presence of terrorists.

"During the conduct of the operation, after an intense fire exchange, 10 bandidos bully boyz were successfully neutralised and sent to hell," the ISPR said.

It also added that the killed bandidos bully boyz remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area against security forces as well as innocent civilians.

"Arms and ammunition were also recovered from them," it added.

In a separate operation, the security forces bumped off a terrorist in North Waziristan, the ISPR added.

Locals of the area appreciated the operations of the security forces, who remain determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country.

Last week, the security forces killed seven bandidos bully boyz trying to infiltrate the Pakistain-Afghan border in the general area of Spinkai, Ghulam Khan, North Waziristan district.

Movement of a group of seven terrorists, trying to infiltrate the Pakistain-Afghanistan border, was detected by security forces in the general area Spinkai, Ghulam Khan, North Waziristan district, the ISPR had said.

It said the infiltrators were surrounded, effectively engaged and after an intense fire exchange, all seven bandidos bully boyz were "sent to hell". A large quantity of weapons, ammunition and explosives was also recovered from the killed terrorists.

The ISPR had said Pakistain has consistently been asking the interim Afghan government to ensure effective border management on their side of the border.

The interim Afghan government is expected to fulfil its obligations and prevent the use of Afghan soil by bandidos bully boyz for perpetrating acts of terrorism against Pakistain.

"The security forces of Pakistain are committed to securing its borders and eliminating the menace of terrorism from the country," the ISPR had said.

As the KP continues to battle the scourge of terrorism, the province's Inspector General of Police (IGP) Akhtar Hayat Khan on April 11 said that as many as 88 bandidos bully boyz have been neutralised in various anti-terror operations since January 1, 2024.

Hezbollah senior operative Mohammad Khalil Atiyeh is now Tango Uniform
[Ynet] Terror group confirms death of Mohammad Khalil Atiyeh, a high-ranking member of Hezbollah's elite Radwan force, according to Lebanese media; 1 dead in strike on car north of Tyre.

The IDF reported on Monday that it struck two military buildings in southern Lebanon's Arzoun and Odaisseh in which Hezbollah terrorists operated.

The army added that IDF forces had earlier struck to neutralize threats in the same region. Additionally, a rocket and missile alert activated in Metula early in the morning was later identified as a false alarm.

Meanwhile, Al Mayadeen reported Tuesday morning that a man was killed in a drone attack on a vehicle north of Tyre, on the Adloun highway near the Abu Al-Asswad area in southern Lebanon.

According to the Saudi channel Al Hadath, the attack was carried out using a drone. Sources told Al Hadath the attack was likely "an assassination of a Palestinian figure due to the proximity of the area to refugee camps."

Likely returning to the refugee camp to attend a Hez staff meeting or to pick up much needed United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) food and supplies.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Hezbollah shoots down Israel's Hermes 450 drone over southern Lebanon
[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] Hezbollah resistance movement has released a video, saying its fighters have shot down an advanced Israeli drone over southern Leb
...an Iranian satrapy currently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozen flavors of Christians, plus Armenians, Georgians, and who knows what else? It is the home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers...
after it violated the country’s airspace.

"The Islamic Resistance® confirms that the enemy drone that its fighters shot down in the airspace of the al-Aishiya area in southern Lebanon is a Hermes 450," the movement said in a late Sunday statement.

Hezbollah added in its statement that the Israeli Hermes 450 drone was shot down when "it was attacking our honorable and steadfast people."

It said shooting down of the drone was part of the movements’ operations carried out in support of the Paleostinian people in the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. Strip.

Hours later, the Israeli regime’s military said in a statement that one of its drones operating in the skies of Lebanon had been hit by a surface-to-air missile.

The Hermes 450 drone, which is made by Israel’s Elbit company, has an endurance of over 20 hours and its primary mission is reconnaissance, surveillance and communications relay. However,
the way to a man's heart remains through his stomach...
it can also carry up to four missiles for offensive operations.

The drone has a wingspan of 10.6 meters, weighs 550 kilograms, and its Hebrew name is Zik.

The new achievement came after earlier in April, Hezbollah fighters managed to shoot down an advanced Hermes 900 Israeli drone over Lebanese territory.

The Israeli army admitted that the drone had crashed in Lebanese territory after being hit by a surface-to-air missile.

With a wingspan of 15 meters, Hermes 900 is the second-largest reconnaissance drone in the Israeli air force.

The Israeli regime has been waging sporadic attacks against the Lebanese soil since October 7, 2023, when it launched a genocidal war against the Gaza Strip that has so far claimed the lives of nearly 34,100 Paleostinians, mostly women and kiddies.

Hezbollah has been retaliating against the regime’s attacks, conducting daily operations against targets throughout the occupied territories in solidarity with the war-hit Gazooks.

The resistance movement fought off two Israeli wars against Lebanon in 2000 and 2006, forcing a humiliating retreat on the Tel Aviv regime’s military in both cases.

The movement has vowed to resolutely defend Lebanon in case of any other Israeli-imposed war.
