Cover-up worse than the crime: Loretta Lynch needs to resign |
2016-07-02 |
Reports this morning indicate that Loretta Lynch is likely to accept the recommendation of the FBI as to prosecuting Hillary. The NY Times and initial reports on MSNBC indicated this was tantamount to a recusal, but the DOJ is now walking it back just a little, saying the likelihood of her overruling the FBI is very low, but not zero. I pointed out on June 29 that the real story here is not just the meeting, but also that Lynch and Clinton kept it secret until a local reporter found out about it from a source and questioned Lynch during a press conference: "Source" ? Yes, likely a member of her own security detail or local law enforcement. More at the link |

#4 I keep asking myself why would anyone do anything so dumb? As a pundit said there are more theories about that than Slick Willie has girlfriends. These people are so full of hubris and confident that the fix is in that they just don't think it's an issue. As Hillary said, the FBI investigation is not a problem--nothing to see there. As she said about Benghazi: "What difference does it make?" and "It's time to move on." Disgusting. |

#3 When she recuses herself from the email investigation, she will remove an 'objectionable' from the discussion when she's nominated to the SC by Hillarity. A kabuki display of 'honor', all by design. I believe this was the intent all along, even before the meeting disclosure. Bill's full description of the full scenario to her probably took just under 30 minutes. This whole operation is right out of the Clinton's playbook. (except for the reporter finding out about the meeting) |

#2 And no cameras were allowed. Nope, no attempt to hide the meeting here. |

#1 Maybe she was hoping for one of Bills steamy encounters. I know. Such a DISGUSTING thought means an automatic three week ban from Rantburg. Including downtime. |
