| SNA, AU forces withdraw from towns in Somalia | |

Residents in Rabdhure and Burdhuhule towns have confirmed the pull out of the allied troops from that towns. The reason behind the retreat of the army is unclear. But local villagers say they are in fear and panic of possible Al Shabaab come-back that could trigger battle between the squeezing coalition forces and the militants. Al Shabaab seem to be making a little-by-little return to the towns and villages in south and central Somalia that are being vacated by Somali and AMISOM troops. | |
