[T]he theory that the virus may have come from a research laboratory is, however, strictly censored on peer-reviewed scientific journals. Nonetheless, SARS-CoV-2 shows biological characteristics that are inconsistent with a naturally occurring, zoonotic virus. In this report, we describe the genomic, structural, medical, and literature evidence, which, when considered together, strongly contradicts the natural origin theory. The evidence shows that SARS-CoV-2 should be a laboratory product created by using bat coronaviruses ZC45 and/or ZXC21 as a template and/or backbone. Building upon the evidence, we further postulate a synthetic route for SARS-CoV-2, demonstrating that the laboratory-creation of this coronavirus is convenient and can be accomplished in approximately six months.

20200912 16:37 Deacon Blues A man named Nathan Hale owned a car dealership. An elderly lady came in and wanted to buy a car and when asked what kind she said one just like my late husbaned owned years ago. When asked to describe it she said it had an angry name. Fury? Nathan asked. That's it she replied. Hale said he had several on the lot. What color? She said yellow. He said there were never any Furys that were yellow. She became indignant and pulled out an ear of corn, peeled back the shusk, and said it was the same color as this ear of corn. Hale again said there were never any yellow Furys. She became enraged and started throwing things from her grocery bag at him while chasing him around the showroom. An employe rushed out of his office and asked what was going on. Another employee said, "Hale hath no Fury like a woman's corn".

20200909 09:56 Deacon Blues Glenmore I got the same Windoz updates. Several hours worth. Had to go back and reset some of my preferences.
20200908 23:21 Glenmore Skid. No VPN. No wifi telephony. Same basic activity as always, but it's using 50 times more data per hour. Suspect Bill Gates just sent me a big pile of crap without telling me - system did a multi-hour Windoze update install this evening. If the update download was about 4 GB, in three sessions, it would explain things.
20200908 19:18 Skidmark I don't use FB, but I imagine the client has two modes. Watch and load everything or wait until you request an update.
20200908 18:57 Skidmark Sat uplinks use a fixed packet size whether you need it or not. That's a big eater.
If you moved to a VPN any encryption compression is lost.
Many ad blockers take the webpage, strip it and pass it back. Thats 3 trips for 1 page.
Are you using wifi telephony?
20200908 16:37 Glenmore For some reason my satellite internet connection has started burning through my data allotment at an alarming rate - about 4 GB per hour (about 5 times the rate I use streaming a movie) and the only device turned on is my laptop and all I was doing is looking at mail and FB - normally use less that 0.1 GB per hour to do that. Antivirus is current and everything acts ok. Any ideas for me?

Special Forces reinforcements: IDF prepares for another confrontation with Hezbollah
The military is preparing for the possibility that the terrorist organization will attempt to harm the soldiers as an act of revenge for the death of a Hezbollah operative in Syria and will not be satisfied with the series of actions he has taken in the sector. The Northern Command raised the level of vigilance and reduced troops in the area for fear of harm. "The IDF's response will be very difficult," they warned.

20200823 10:14 Alaska Paul Matt——The 3 gorges crisis as far as the dam goes is over. The surge has gone through. During the heavy rains and flow down the Yangtze was 70000+ cu m/ sec. the reservoir level was left high for maximum hydroelectric production. Rather than lower the reservoir to handle the surge in a timely manner the reservoir was left at a high level. Once threat of overtopping the dam was apparent then the dam was opened as much as operators dared which in turn caused huge flooding downstream.

The damage is huge, but we don’t get the full picture of the disaster here. It would be helpful to get before during and after sat images.
20200822 09:59 Deacon Blues Facebook has been deleting some of my posts.
20200821 16:08 Thing From Snowy Mountain Paul, are you the one who posted the link to

20200821 14:56 Matt AP- thanks for your continued posting on Three Gorges. This really ought to be headline news, if I understand correctly what's at stake.
20200821 13:40 Alaska Paul Looking at water levels upriver, I would say that since they are dropping, the surge is heading down the reservoir and that the dam operators are betting that surge of water will pass in a week or so and that the dam water level will not get to critical elevation.

In short the dam will maintain 48,800 cu meters/sec discharge and they can get away with it---this time.
20200821 12:18 Alaska Paul From RPN News:

Water levels at China’s giant Three Gorges Dam on the Yangtze river are inching closer to their maximum after torrential rains raised inflows to a record high, official data showed on Friday.

With 75,000 cubic metres per second of water flowing in from the Yangtze River on Thursday, the reservoir’s depth had reached 165.6 metres (543 feet) by Friday morning, up more than two metres (6.6 feet) overnight and almost 20 metres (65.6 feet) higher than the official warning level.

The maximum designed depth of China’s largest reservoir is 175 metres (574 feet).

Authorities raised the discharge volume to a record 48,800 cubic metres per second on Thursday to try and lower water levels, and they might have to increase it again to avoid the possibility of a dangerous overflow.

“They will do everything they can to prevent the dam from overtopping,” said Desiree Tullos, a professor at Oregon State University who studies the Three Gorges project, the world’s biggest hydroelectric dam.

“An overtopping dam is a worst-case scenario because it produces significant damage … and can lead to the entire thing collapsing.”

Rainfall in the Yangtze basin has been well over double the seasonal average this year. Up to last week, 63 million people had been affected by flooding, which had caused nearly 180 billion yuan ($26bn) in economic damage.

The Three Gorges, completed in 2012, was designed not only to generate power but also to reduce the risk of flooding from the Yangtze, the cause of many devastating floods throughout China’s history.
20200821 08:01 Deacon Blues This is really funny: "From a conservative standpoint, Wednesday night’s DNC slog featured the worst of the worst. Not only did the Lightbringer regale us with his presence, but Granny Maojackets made a video cameo appearance to whine about the fact that she lost in 2016 because we elect presidents the way the United States Constitution tells us to and not by the popular vote.

Hillary Clinton may be a bitter, pathetic woman but none of us will ever truly understand the hell she went through to sober up long enough to record that video for the DNC. Our thoughts are with her and whichever members of her household staff she verbally abused while going through her DTs. I sincerely hope there were no puppies around to kick.
Last night was, of course, the big night for Sen. Kamala Harris at the DNC. The woman who hopes to become the first beneficiary of a 25th Amendment coup gave her acceptance speech to the void and — in the best American presidential politics tradition — got the amnesia required to forget her disagreements with her running mate."
