[Regnum] Over the past 24 hours, the Aerospace Forces of the Russian Federation have destroyed five bases of militants who had taken refuge in mountainous areas in the Syrian province of Homs. Major General Yuri Popov reported this to the Deputy Head of the Center for Reconciliation of Warring Parties (CPVS) on Thursday, April 18.
“Strikes by the Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed five bases of militants who had left the al-Tanf zone and were hiding in hard-to-reach areas of the Al-Amur mountain range in Homs province,” he said during a briefing.
According to him, the Center also recorded several cases of violation of deconfliction protocols by four pairs of F-15 fighters, two pairs of A-10 Thunderbolt attack aircraft and one MC-12W electronic reconnaissance and surveillance aircraft of the so-called international anti-terrorist coalition led by the United States of America.
As reported by Regnum news agency, on April 17, the Center for Reconciliation of Warring Parties reported the destruction of three bases of militants who had taken refuge in hard-to-reach areas of the Al-Amur mountain range in Homs province. No shelling of positions of Syrian government troops in the Idlib de-escalation zone by militants was recorded.
