[Breitbart] President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released more than 150,000 border crossers and illegal aliens, without a Notice to Appear (NTA) in immigration court, into the United States in the summer of 2021, bombshell footage reveals.
As part of a lawsuit against Biden’s expansive Catch and Release network, Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody obtained internal DHS footage revealing the extent to which the agency released hundreds of thousands of border crossers and illegal aliens into the U.S. interior without court dates.
In particular, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) official can be heard telling agents that more than 150,000 border crossers and illegal aliens were released into the U.S. interior without NTAs in the summer of 2021. Biden’s DHS started the practice in March 2021.
“You know over the summer, we had well over 150,000 folks come in,” the ICE official states. “They were issued a piece of paper that said, ‘Find somebody in ICE,’ and that was pretty much it. There was no processing. I know this isn’t something that you guys asked for, and I can assure you that no one in the criminal alien program asked for it either.”
Moody suggested in a statement that the Biden administration is proactively releasing border crossers and illegal aliens into American towns and cities with no intention of deporting them even if they are found to not have valid asylum claims.
“… this has been this administration’s plan all along,” Moody said.
The latest estimates show that from February 2021 to October 2022, Biden’s DHS has released at least 1.4 million border crossers and illegal aliens into the U.S. interior. Many of those released last year were given only Notices to Report (NTRs), which asked arrivals to check in with ICE wherever they resettled.

[AMUtv] Two women were killed in Samangan province in the north of Afghanistan allegedly on the orders of Mullah Shamshad, Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... ’s district governor for Roi Do Ab district in the province, sources said.
Some residents of the district told Amu that Taliban members loyal to Shamshad had "raped" a woman named Anisa and when she lodged a complaint with the provincial district governor’s office, she was "beheaded" by her brother, who is a Taliban member.
"The woman lodged a complaint to the government. She got pregnant before marriage. After returning home from the district governor’s compound, her brother, who is a Taliban member, killed her with a knife," said a resident.
Another resident said that the woman was arrested after she lodged the complaint. She was then released on the grounds of her being pregnant. She was told to appear in court after her baby was born, said the resident.
"Mullah Shamshad’s forces had raped the woman. Shamshad then imprisoned the woman. Then she was released...," the resident explained.
Local sources said the killing happened on Dec. 14, 2022.
Another woman who was also allegedly killed by Taliban members close to Shamshad was Amina, a midwife in the district.
A tribal elder in Roi Do Aab district in Samangan said Amina had been accused of having an affair with one of Shamshad’s forces who used to go to the health center in Qala-e-Surkh village where he harassed the women.
He said that residents of the village complained about the Taliban member’s behavior, which led to Shamshad allegedly ordering the killing of Amina.
"Taliban (members) used to go to the health centers and harass women. People complained about this. Mawlawi Shamshad asked the doctor (midwife) about the matter and she responded yes, the people are harassed. The district governor slapped the doctor (midwife) and told her that she is defaming the mujahideen. The midwife was killed the same night," said the tribal elder.
Sources in Samangan said that after complaints, Shamshad went to one of his close aides known as Khairuddin who was the midwife’s neighbor and asked him to get Amina out of her house.
"They told the woman to leave her house. Then she was rubbed out. Shamshad warned the people they would also be killed if they spoke out about the incident," the source said.
Another resident of Sorkh Qala village said Amina was killed after her photo with a Taliban commander was posted on social media.
"Amina was working in the vaccination department of the Sorkh Qala clinic. I don’t know what the issue was. Their photo was leaked. The Islamic Emirate (Taliban) held them responsible and then she was killed one evening. The neighbors heard five or six gunshots that evening. Her family told us that she died of a cardiac problem," said the source.
Local residents said the incident happened on Dec. 13.
Samangan residents say Shamshad was behind the killings of the two women. They also said that Qari Anis and Bismillah, two of Shamshad’s bodyguards, as well as Amina’s brother, Samadullah, were involved in the killing of the two women.
They added that the Taliban in Samangan are trying to keep the two murder cases out of court.
Photos received by Amu show a Taliban member in a military uniform with two women.
Sources said the man is Qari Anis, Shamshad’s guard.
Eight residents of the area, including a tribal elder in Roi Do Aab district, who all want to remain anonymous, confirmed that the two murders had been conducted by the Taliban members.
Shamshad did not respond to Amu’s calls.
Mawlawi Muneeb, Taliban’s director of information and culture in Samangan, rejected the allegations and said the photos — seen by Amu — had been photoshopped.
"I have followed the matter closely, and it is not true. I will continue to follow it," said Muneeb.
This comes after the Taliban’s supreme leader announced last month that capital punishment and other punishments in accordance with Sharia must be implemented against people convicted of crimes.
So far, the group has flogged at least 210 men and women in public after they were found guilty in Taliban courts of various crimes across the country in only a month.
EXPLOSION IN TAKHAR INJURES 5 – A blast was reported on Wednesday in Taloqan City and was initially said to be a roadside bomb. However, multiple local sources have now stated it was due to a gas cylinder that had exploded near a bakery. The 5 casualties have all been sent to the hospital for treatment. Taliban officials continue to claim the blast was caused by a mine but most have dismissed their claims as nonsense.
FORMER PRESIDENT KARZAI CALLS FOR ‘GRAND DIALOGUE’ – He commented in an interview with the Washington Post and said a national discussion was the only way for the country to make its way out of the current predicament. He said he has been speaking with a senior Taliban official and that some plans have been made for an inclusive discussion, but they have not worked through all the details as of yet. Ultimately, the goal seems to be forming an inclusive government and drafting a new constitution. While most agree his proposal is likely the only solution, the Taliban’s ‘old guard’ has adopted an entrenched stance and does not seem willing to budge or share power.
SNOW AND RAIN EXPECTED ACROSS SOUTHERN AFGHANISTAN – The Meteorological Department warns that there is the possibility of snow and heavy rains in the provinces of Herat, Farah, Ghor, Badghis, Daikundi, Bamiyan, Maidan Wardak, Uruzgan, Helmand, Kandahar, Zabul, Ghazni and Paktika in the next 24 hours. Transportation and power distribution networks could experience disruptions.
27 NEW DISTRICTS FORMED BY INTERIOR MINISTRY – The Ministry said that the people of Afghanistan had called for the formation of the new districts and the Supreme Leader had approved the plan. Observers say it is a move to reward Taliban loyalists by giving them leadership positions in the new Districts and will place additional strain on the country’s abysmal economic situation. A source in the Ministry of the Interior claimed the new Districts have been formed mainly along ethnic lines and seemed to favor Pashtun enclaves in Provinces where other ethnic groups have large populations.

[An Nahar] Tunisian prosecutors asked the top judicial body to strip 13 judges of immunity so they can be tried on terror charges, their lawyer said Wednesday, describing the case as "purely political".
The move comes nearly seven months after President Kais Saied sacked 57 judges, accusing them of corruption and blocking enquiries into two left-wing political figures in 2013, among other purported transgressions.
Defence lawyer Ayachi Hammami said the 13 were among 49 judges reinstated in August.
But the justice ministry has been investigating his 13 clients for "terrorist crimes mentioned in security reports," he added.
"This case is purely political," Hammami said.
The accused judges are to appear before the Supreme Judicial Council (CSM) on January 24, he told AFP.
Saied staged a dramatic power grab in July 2021, sacking the government, suspending parliament and rocking the foundations of the only democracy to have emerged from the Arab Spring uprisings.
In February he dissolved a previous top judicial body, replacing it with the CSM whose members the president picks -- and can sack without appeal.
In June he issued a decree tightening his control over the CSM, a day before he suspended the 57 judges.
Rights groups Human Rights Watch and Amnesia Amnesty International had slammed the suspensions as "a direct attack on the rule of law", and Tunisian lawyers went on strike for a month in response.
