bandidos bandidos bully boys in a shootout along the mostly non-existent border with Somalia on Thursday.

The heavily armed bandidos bandidos bully boys launched the assault, sparking an armed clash with Kenya's elite Special Operations Group (SOG) that lasted several hours.

The Kenyan specialized force's well-coordinated efforts resulted in the elimination of all 20 terrorists, the police said, adding that eight officers were also injured in the attack by terrorists.

Police spokesperson Resla Onyango said at a presser in the capital Nairobi that the bandidos bandidos bully boys ambushed the police patrol at Ogorwen in Mandera County, injuring eight officers.

The injured officers are being treated at a local hospital and will be airlifted to Nairobi once stabilized, Onyango said, adding that police recovered weapons from the scene of the crime, including a submachine gun and a rocket-propelled grenade (RPG).

Kenya's army kills Al-Shabaab suicide bomber, brings town drone
[Garowe] Kenya Defence Forces troops killed an unidentified suspected al-Shabaab
...... the Islamic version of the old Somali warlord...
jacket wallah, security sources have revealed, in the latest tremendous achievement that would have otherwise been catastrophic to the military, had the bomber managed to detonate.

According to security sources, the suspected al-Shabaab bad boy was approaching Camp Sarira in Lamu where the multi-agency security forces have been pitching tents, but was eliminated by snipers who noticed him from the vicinity. The suspect went titzup, sources added.

While the KDF is yet to release full details about Wednesday's event, reports indicate that the military had earlier downed a drone that was doing surveillance in the camp, showing how technologically advanced the group is. The drone was being monitored from an unknown location.

Al-Shabaab has been carrying sporadic attacks on Kenyan soil for the last couple of weeks, killing security officers in Garissa and Lamu, besides waging attacks in Mandera and Wajir. The attacks are correlated with ongoing operations against the group within Somalia.

Some reports also indicate al-Shabaab snuffies ambushed the Special Operations Group of the Kenya Police in Ogor-weyn area of Mandera North. SOG personnel fought back the attackers, but details about casualties were not immediately disclosed.
We had a breaking report about that two days ago, but no details.
Before the Mandera attack, Interior Minister Kithure Kindiki had announced a delay in re-opening of Kenya-Somalia border which was scheduled for this month, arguing that the two countries had made the decision due to increasing terror attacks within the Republic of Kenya.

Initially, Kenya had agreed to open Mandera-Bula Hawo, Liboi-Dhoblely, and Kiunga-Ras Kamboni border points to facilitate trade between the two countries. But the al-Shabaab, who make revenue from smuggled goods across the border, warned about the decision while forecasting increased attacks on Kenyan soil.

Two KDPI members killed in Sulaimani province

...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
(KDPI) were killed in an overnight attack in Sulaimani province, the party announced on Friday, placing blame on the Iranian regime.

...Shafaq News spells all that as Qaladiza in Sulaymaniya, and the victims as Adel Muhajir and Luqman Naji...
when they were targeted and killed in a "premeditated" attack by an "Iranian regime hitman," the KDPI said in a statement.

The party condemned the attack and the Iranian regime, and called on authorities in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region to take a firm stance against Tehran.

According to Hengaw Human Rights Organization, which monitors human rights
...not to be confused with individual rights, mind you...
in Kurdish areas of Iran, the attack was carried out by Rasul Azarabakhish, a former KDPI member who left the party over six years ago and joined the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

Hengaw added that after shooting the KDPI members, Azarabakhish, who was reportedly visiting the Kurdistan Region under the pretext of searching for a job, fled towards Iranian forces on the border to seek protection.

The KDPI is a Kurdish opposition party that has waged an on-and-off war against the Iranian government since the 1979 Islamic Revolution. The party has been based in the Kurdistan Region since the 1980’s and Iran frequently bombards areas where the KDPI is present, including using ballistic missiles in what it says are efforts to target the group. Tehran has threatened further military action if Baghdad and Erbil do not secure the border areas and disarm the opposition groups.

Iraqi and Kurdistan Region officials have repeatedly criticized the presence of exiled Kurdish opposition groups within their borders, saying they harm relations with their neighbors.

On March 19, Iraq's National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji and Iran's then-Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani signed a security deal in which they agreed to coordinate to protect the shared border. The agreement is seen as a joint step against Kurdish dissident groups based in the Kurdistan Region.

8 Palestinians arrested for livestreaming harassment of mentally ill Haredi man
[IsraelTimes] In video shared on TikTok, group of teens and young adults cursed and laughed at ultra-Orthodox man at Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in Jerusalem

Police arrested eight Arab men from East Jerusalem on Friday on suspicion of harassing a mentally ill ultra-Orthodox man at the Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem during a livestream on TikTok.

In portions of the lengthy video, the men are seen cursing and laughing at the man as he lies on the floor in front of them, telling him to curse the Israeli flag and ordering him to eat food off the floor "like a dog." They also ordered the Haredi man to repeat insulting phrases and told him to express solidarity with the West Bank city of Jenin.

According to the police, the man was at the hospital seeking treatment when the incident occurred in the early hours of Friday morning. Media reports said the group were livestreaming the incident on TikTok for close to an hour.

Police say the suspects are ages 18-24, residents of the Sur Baher neighborhood of Jerusalem, and were in the hospital visiting a friend who was injured during riots in East Jerusalem a few days earlier.

Police have in the past investigated acts of violence and incitement after they were posted on the popular social media platform. In one particularly viral video, a Paleostinian was filmed pouring hot coffee on an Orthodox man, leading to a two-year prison sentence.

In December, police arrested two Paleostinian teenagers who filmed themselves threatening a Haredi man in Jerusalem’s Old City and ordering him to bend down on his knees and kiss one of their feet in a video that they later uploaded to TikTok.

Last May, state prosecutors filed an indictment against a 17-year-old Paleostinian resident of East Jerusalem who was filmed violent mostly peacefully slapping a pair of ultra-Orthodox passengers on the city’s light rail.

Palestinians clash with Israeli security forces during a military raid in the West Bank city of Nablus
[IsraelTimes] Shin Bet says men were behind shooting in small West Bank Samaritan community on Wednesday; troops map home of Hamas, the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood, gunman who killed soldier

Two armed Paleostinians accused of carrying out a recent shooting attack were killed by Israeli forces in the northern West Bank city of Nablus on Friday morning, the Shin Bet security agency said, the latest in a series of violent mostly peaceful events in the West Bank.

According to the Shin Bet, the pair, named as Khairi Shaheen, 34, and Hamza Maqbool, 32, were responsible for carrying out a shooting attack on Wednesday at a small Samaritan community south of Nablus, near the Jewish settlement of Har Bracha. No injuries were caused in the attack.

The Shin Bet said members of the elite police Yamam counterterrorism unit attempted to arrest Shaheen and Maqbool. "The two were killed during an exchange of fire with our forces," the agency said.

Two handguns allegedly used by the button men in the Wednesday attack were seized by Israeli forces.

In a separate operation in Nablus, the Israel Defense Forces said troops detained three wanted Paleostinians. Another three Paleostinian terror suspects were detained in other areas of the West Bank on Friday morning, the IDF said.

Early Friday morning, the IDF said troops measured the home of the Hamas gunman, Ahmed Yassin Ghaidan, in the village of Qibya, ahead of a potential demolition. Israel regularly demolishes the homes of Paleostinians accused of carrying out deadly terror attacks as a matter of policy.

The IDF said that festivities erupted in Qibya during the operation, with one soldier suffering light injuries after a stone was hurled at him by Paleostinian rioters. Troops responded with riot dispersal means, the IDF said.

Since the beginning of this year, Paleostinian attacks in Israel and the West Bank have killed 25 people, including Thursday’s shooting.

According to a tally by The Times of Israel, 150 West Bank Paleostinians have been killed during that time — most of them during festivities with security forces or while carrying out attacks.

Palestinian shot dead by Israeli troops during West Bank clashes
[IsraelTimes] IDF says soldiers used live fire, riot dispersal means after rocks thrown at them near Umm Safa, one of several villages where settlers rioted after deadly attack last month

A Paleostinian man was rubbed out by Israeli troops near the West Bank village of Umm Safa on Friday afternoon, Paleostinian health officials said.

The Paleostinian Authority health ministry announced the man’s death, but did not immediately provide further details. The slain man was identified on social media as Abdel Jawad Saleh, 24, from the central West Bank village of ’Arura.

According to the military, Paleostinians threw rocks at a road, troops and Border Police officers outside of Umm Safa, with the Israeli forces in turn responding with riot dispersal means and live fire.

"A hit was identified," a statement from the Israel Defense Forces said. "The circumstances of the incident are being looked into."

Umm Safa was one of several Paleostinian towns where settlers rioted last month, after four Israelis were killed in a terror shooting at a gas station outside the settlement of Eli.

Overhaul protests at MKs’ homes, key roads; plans for unprecedented demo next week
Let us give the credit due to the interventionist Biden administration, which is financing and aiding in planning via the US State Department.
[IsraelTimes] Levin, Rothman, Likud ministers targeted in another round of protests; ex-PM Ehud Barak says pilots, special ops should refuse to serve if coalition passes ’reasonableness’ bill
Ex-PM Ehud Barak sounds perfectly willing eager for Israel to be destroyed as punishment for not re-electing him. And he in a tie for the most decorated soldier in Israeli history! “Après moi, le déluge,” has clearly become his motto in his old age.
Leaders of the ongoing protest movement against the government’s judicial overhaul plans pledged to further intensify their opposition next week, as demonstrators blocked roads and rallied outside the homes of coalition members on Thursday evening.
Spray ‘em all with Israel’s specially developed skunk water, just like they do for Palestinian rioters. Wouldn’t want to be racist by giving them special treatment, right?
Speaking at a presser, organizers called for a demonstration "such as has never been seen before in Israel" next Tuesday, a day after the Knesset is due to hold the first of three plenum votes on a bill that would block courts from exercising judicial review over the reasonableness of government decisions.
Shoot ‘em with rubber bullets, ditto.
“We are going to intensify our struggle," they said.

Addressing National Unity party chief Benny Gantz’s call Thursday for the coalition to resume judicial reform talks, the protesters reiterated their demand for no negotiations until the judicial legislation is shelved altogether.

"The country is in great and immediate danger," said Shikma Bressler, a physicist and grassroots organizer.
That’s “grassroots”. According to Wikipedia, Shikma Schwartzman-Bressler is an Israeli physicist doing research at the Weizmann Institute of Science and the CERN particle accelerator in Switzerland. She is also a social activist and leading figure in the "Black Flag" protests against Benjamin Netanyahu. In other words, a pro.
Moshe Radman, another protest leader, vowed the demonstrators would continue "exercising our democratic right to protest with all strength."
The democratic right is to peaceful protest and voting, not riotously blocking major roads and threatening civilians and members of government because your party lost the last election. The income tax bureau needs to see how much they’re being paid by the US State Department and the Movement for Quality Government (MQG), the Israeli front for a variety of anti-Israel international progressive groups.
He urged employers to give their workers the day off on Tuesday to demonstrate.
I would urge employers to fire anyone who thinks his politics more important than actually doing the job he is being paid for.
Former prime minister and IDF chief of staff Ehud Barak said Thursday that pilots and other elite military members should refuse to continue to serve in the Israel Defense Forces if the reasonableness bill becomes law.

The bill, which would prevent the judiciary from using the "reasonableness" doctrine to review decisions made by the cabinet, government ministers and unspecified other elected officials, was approved by the Knesset’s Constitution, Law, and Justice Committee on Tuesday and is set for its first reading next week. The coalition reportedly aims to have it enacted into law before the Knesset breaks for summer recess at the end of July.

Thursday evening saw demonstrators rally near the homes of numerous coalition politicians, most notably two of the leading figures in the judicial shakeup push — Justice Minister Yariv Levin and Religious Zionism MK Simcha Rothman, the latter of whom heads the Knesset Constitution, Law and Justice Committee.

Other protests were held at the homes of ministers and MKs from the ruling Likud party, including Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana, Economy Minister Nir Barkat and Intelligence Minister Gila Gamliel. Protesters also demonstrated earlier in the day at Gamliel’s house in north Tel Aviv.

Police said two protesters were arrested in Tel Aviv for attacking officers and disturbing public order, near the home of Negev and Galilee Minister Yitzhak Wasserlauf of the far-right Otzma Yehudit party.
How many others were not arrested, but should have been?
Two people were also arrested outside Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana’s home in the coastal city for disturbing public order.

Coalition members have recently upped their complaints about the rallies outside their homes and urged a tougher police response (though they often supported similar demonstrations when in opposition to the previous government).
Oh, a yes, but. One wonders how many coalition members actually did support such behaviour, back in the day, because I don’t remember reading about it.
Protesters marched on Tel Aviv’s Ayalon Highway and briefly blocked Route 2 along the coast. They also blocked roads near Levin’s home in Modiin and in Ramat Gan.

"The violence against protesters must stop.
It would be nice if the protesters stopped their violence, too, because they started it.
The government’s attempts to forcibly suppress democracy will be met with determined resistance," opposition leader Yair Lapid said in a statement. "The attempt by Levin and [National Security Minister Itamar] Ben Gvir to turn the police into a violent mostly peaceful militia won’t succeed."
It would be nice if they could get the police to uphold laws against blocking traffic and threatening politicians’ families instead of allowing the “grassroots” organized protesters to run roughshod over both custom and law.
The protests came after roads across the country were blocked for a number of hours Wednesday night by spontaneous demonstrations after the Tel Aviv police chief announced he would resign rather than be transferred to a more marginal role.

Amichai Eshed said he had been removed from his role due to what he said were "political considerations" and for refusing to use "disproportionate force," following what right-wing critics claimed was his soft handling of protesters against the overhaul.
I think they deserve to be treated like rioting Palestinians instead of getting kid glove handling merely because they are fashionably Progressive. Attempting to overthrow a legitimate election because it did not come out the way the Left wanted is anti-democratic totalitarianism, despite all the Israeli flags and loudly professed love of democracy.
Thousands erupted into the streets after his announcement, with the largest of the over 40 demonstrations reported nationwide taking place on Tel Aviv’s Ayalon Highway, where police clashed with protesters who blocked traffic and lit bonfires.
That, my dears, is exactly not peaceful protest.
The thoroughfare was blocked for several hours as police struggled to restore order, before deploying mounted officers and water cannons to forcibly disperse protesters after midnight.

One driver stuck in traffic plowed through the demonstration, apparently while filming the incident on his phone, injuring at least one protester before being pulled over and arrested by police. He was reportedly released on Thursday morning under certain limitations.

Tel Aviv’s Ichilov Medical Center said Thursday that 14 people had been brought in for medical treatment from the protest. Six of them had wounds to their eyes, one of whom required surgery.
See? You really can put an eye out with those things.
Police said they arrested 15 people in Tel Aviv. All of the detainees were released by Thursday morning, the Kan public broadcaster reported.

The Wednesday night protests echoed larger ones that took place across the country in late March, following Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s decision to fire Defense Minister Yoav Gallant after the latter raised the alarm regarding the judicial overhaul’s impact on security. Netanyahu went on to freeze the overhaul the following day and later walked back his decision to axe Gallant.

The demonstrations have been ongoing since Levin revealed the overhaul plans in January and recently ramped up again as Netanyahu’s hardline coalition has renewed its efforts to push through some of the relevant laws unilaterally. Opponents say they are a threat to Israel’s democratic character while supporters argue they are needed to curb the powers of a judiciary they say is unrestrained.

2 detained for assaulting anti-overhaul protesters near Likud MK’s home

[IsraelTimes] Video shows driver and his son getting out of truck and scuffling with demonstrators, who accuse the father of trying to run them over
Video looks to me like typical Antifa/Black Bloc blocking the road, then harassing and threatening cars that get caught in the morass they created, In this case the driver and his son got out to attack their attackers. But the Times of Israel staff is sympathetic to the “grass roots” protesters, despite knowing that the cadres are paid by the US State Department and international Progessive organizations to cause trouble for the Netanyahu government.
Police detained two suspects for assaulting anti-government protesters outside a Likud politician’s home in southern Israel.

The incident near MK Shalom Danino’s house in Omer came as demonstrators have increasingly been rallying outside coalition members’ homes as part of their push to ramp up protests against the government’s judicial overhaul legislation.

Photographer hit by car at Tel Aviv protest questioned for ‘breaching public order’

[IsraelTimes] Photographer Ari Sarur was shooting pictures of anti-government demonstrators as they spontaneously
...that should be in scare quotes, being as it’s the kind of spontaneity that has been planned, coordinated, and pre-supplied to a fare thee well...
blocked the Ayalon Highway on Wednesday night, when a driver suddenly barreled through the crowd and hit him, dropping him to the ground.

Sarur was largely unharmed. Other protesters were forced to scramble out of the way and some were hit by the vehicle, but no one was injured.

Sarur was called in for questioning by the Tel Aviv police Thursday to submit his testimony of the event. He was then informed that he was being investigated "under caution" for allegedly participating in the blocking of the highway, Sarur’s lawyer Shachar Mandelman told Haaretz. Police have not confirmed the allegation.

According to the lawyer, Sarur was not actively participating in the demonstration, but rather only taking photographs. "At first he only stood next to other press photographers and did not descend onto the highway with the first protesters who blocked it, and only later" went down, he said.

The driver who drove through the crowd and hit Sarur, a resident of Holon, was arrested by the police immediately after the incident. He was interrogated on Thursday morning and subsequently released with a restraining order. He alleged that he did not hit the protesters on purpose, but rather that he became stuck with his car in the rally and tried to make his way out of the crowd.

Killings continue amid negotiations with government in Syria's Daraa
[NPASYRIA] On Friday, the town of Tafas in the western countryside of Daraa, southern Syria, was calm after two days of festivities between government forces and local assailants due to negotiations, which are still ongoing, amid ongoing killing cases and security chaos in different areas in Daraa.

Local sources in Tafas told North Press the festivities stopped after a round of negotiations between residents of the town and the government forces over the latter’s entry to the town. The sources added that the two parties agreed to stop fighting until a final agreement is reached, and a second round of negotiations between the two is expected on Friday.

Drone attack kills former ISIS leader, wounds civilian in Aleppo
[NPASYRIA] On Friday, a drone targeted with missiles a cycle of violence on a route to the town of Baza’a in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, resulting in the killing of the driver and the wounding of an individual, who was near the targeted scene.

An exclusive source told North Press correspondent that "the drone targeted the cycle of violence on a route links between Baza’a and the city of al-Bab east of Aleppo, killing its driver and wounding a civilian who was near the targeted site."

The attack was carried out with four Ninja missiles that are usually used to target leaders of the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS) in several areas in northwest Syria.

The source noted that the initial information indicates that the targeted driver is called "Homam Abu Anas," who hails from the city of Hasakah, northeast Syria, and that he was likely a former leader of ISIS, while the maimed individual "Adnan al-Derai’y," is a civilian from Baza’a.

Syria's AANES hands 5 ISIS family members to Canada
[NPASYRIA] The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) handed two women and three children of Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS) family members to a Canadian delegation according to an official repatriation document between the AANES and Canada.

This came in a meeting on Thursday between bigwigs from the Canadian Foreign Ministry and the Foreign Relations Department of the AANES.

The delegation that included Rasta Daei, Head of Office of Embassy of Canada in Syria and Leb
...an Iranian colony situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozeen flavors of Christians. It is the home of Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers...
, was received by the deputy co-chair of the Foreign Relations Department, Rubel Baho, member of the executive committee, Khaled Ibrahim, and representative of the Woman’s Protection Units (YPJ), Lana Hussein.

ISIS lost its final stronghold in Syria in March 2019. The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), with the support of the US-led Global Coalition, defeated ISIS after fierce battles in the town of Baghouz in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria, bringing an end to the so-called caliphate declared by the terrorist ISIS.

After Baghouz, thousands of ISIS fighters were transferred to prisons, while their families were transferred to Hawl and Roj camps in the AANES-held areas.

Issue of the family members of the ISIS held in camps in northeast Syria constitutes an ongoing challenge for the non-internationally recognized AANES, which repeatedly demands that the concerned countries repatriate their nationals.

During the meeting, Baho highlighted the issue of the map of the last the round of Astana Peace talks on Syria on June 20, which "will form several alliances against the Syrian people that will lead the Syrian crisis to a new face thus situation for each Syrian and the region will further complicate and worsen."

Baho added that the only solution for the crisis in Syria is through intra-Syrian talks, calling on the international community to support the exerted efforts to solve the crisis and conflict in the country in accordance with the UN Resolution NO. 2254.

He stressed that The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund...
continues threating the region, carrying out intensive attacks against civilians and the AANES employees via drones, and continuously shelling of the region in full view of the international community without any deterrent.

He also highlighted the issue of the AANES initiative to trial ISIS bully boyz and the way the administration will organize these trials, calling on Canada and the international community to provide support to go ahead holding fair trials for these bully boyz in order to solve their outstanding and worrying cases.

On June 10, the AANES announced that it would begin the trial of foreign ISIS fighters held in its prisons in line with international and local terrorism laws.
