Afghanistan
Taliban Detain Female Activist, Husband, and Child in Kabul
[8am] Informed sources have reported the detention of Neda Parwani, a member of the "Spontaneous Women’s Movement of Afghanistan," by the Taliban
...Arabic for students...
in Kabul.

At least two reliable sources have confirmed to Hasht-e Subh that the Taliban apprehended Neda Parwani on the morning of Tuesday, September 19, in the Khairkhana area of Kabul and subsequently transferred her to an undisclosed location.

According to sources, the Taliban have also detained the husband and a four-year-old son of this female protester.

As of now, the Taliban has not issued any official statement regarding this incident.

It is important to highlight that since the emergence of women’s protests in the country, the Taliban have detained and subjected several female protesters to torture.

Sources attribute the Taliban’s detention of female protesters to extortion by this group, alleging that the Taliban demand "money" in exchange for the release of female activists from human rights
...which are usually entirely different from personal liberty...
organizations.

Former Government Army Officer Mysteriously Murdered in Kandahar
[8am] Local sources in Kandahar province report that a former government army officer has been "mysteriously" murdered in the region.

According to reports obtained by Hasht-e Subh, the victim was identified as Khalil Ahmad and was killed on the Thursday night, September 14th, in the "Ainu Mina" area of Kandahar city.

Sources indicate that Khalil Ahmad was subjected to torture before being fatally attacked with a knife.

While the precise motive and the identities of the perpetrators behind Khalil Ahmad’s murder remain unknown, sources suggest that he were tossed into the calaboose by the Taliban
...mindless ferocity in a turban...
the night before his demise and subsequently met a tragic fate.

Meanwhile,
...back at the wrecked scow, Agent 49 felt gingerly for his head. It was still there. He had been hoping differently...
Rahmatullah Andar, the spokesperson for the former government’s National Security Council, stated that the Taliban had apprehended Khalil Ahmad in the 10th district of Kandahar.

He posted on his social media platform that Khalil Ahmad, the son of Dostum
...ethnic Uzbek warlord who distinguished himself fighting the Soviets and the Taliban. The story that he had a bad guy run over with a tank is an exaggeration. It was an armored personnel carrier...
Khan, was discovered lifeless in the Jarai district of Kandahar province, with signs of knife wounds on his body, specifically a cut throat.

According to Andar, Khalil Ahmad had been residing in Aino Mina, Kandahar, and had received multiple threats from the Taliban in the 10th district.

However,
the hip bone's connected to the leg bone...
local Taliban officials have categorically denied these allegations, asserting that their forces discovered Khalil Ahmad injured in Aino Mina and promptly transported him to a hospital. Regrettably, he departed this vale of tears while undergoing treatment.

The Taliban have attributed the murder of this former government military officer to "family disputes."

It is essential to note that since the Taliban’s resurgence, numerous former government military personnel across various regions of the country have met mysterious and untimely deaths.

Human rights organizations have consistently accused the Taliban of being responsible for these killings of former government military personnel.

Al-Shabaab militants torch houses in Kenya
[Garowe] Somalia-based al-Shabaab
...... al-Qaeda's tentacle in East Africa...
Lions of Islam on Tuesday torched houses in the coastal region where they have been fighting with multi-agency security teams, leading to the death of at least one person, with authorities now zoning the region as a Special Operations Zone.

The incident took place in Widhu area within Lamu County, not from where a Kenya Defence Forces [KDF] helicopter crashed, leaving several soldiers dead on Monday night. The cause of the accident is under review but analysts have ruled out possible involvement of al-Shabaab hard boys.

Witnesses said the gang torched houses in the raid before escaping. No arrest has been made. This is the latest incident to happen in the area amid heightened operations to address the terror-related menace, The Star reports.

The county has been experiencing al-Shabaab attacks in recent months, forcing the government to deploy more troops. Last week, a KDF vehicle was completely dismembered after running over an Improvised Explosive Device [IED], leaving several soldiers critically injured.

Interior Minister Kithure Kindiki on Wednesday announced plans to deploy KDF's Special Operations Force Brigade which comprises of Rangers Strike Regiment and Special Forces to Lamu and Northern Kenya to help in dealing with the al-Shabaab menace.

The special-trained troops will be joined by elite forces from multi-agency teams and according to him, the group has the capacity to end al-Shabaab's persistent attacks. The soldiers will closely work with locals in identifying those who have been causing mayhem in the four counties namely Lamu, Mandera, Garissa, and Wajir.

The state has imposed a dusk-to-dawn curfew in Salama, Juhudi, Widhu Marafa, Mashogoni, and Ukumbi in Lamu West as part of efforts to enhance operations targeting the turbans who hide in Boni forest.

The turbans have been attacking places near the Kenyan border by using guns and explosives leaving dozens dead and many injured. The recent attacks have forced the government to suspend plans to reopen the Kenya-Somalia border.

"It is worth recalling that the heart of what is today called “the Muslim world” — the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) — was thoroughly Christian before the sword of Islam invaded. Bit by bit, century after century after the initial seventh-century Muslim conquests and occupations, it lost its Christian identity. Its peoples were lost in the morass of Islam so that few today even remember that Egypt, Iraq, Syria, etc., were among the first, oldest, and most populous Christian nations."

Khalistan supporter Sukha Duneke shot dead in Canada: Reports | BREAKING [YouTube]
[YouTube] Sep 21, 2023
Another Khalistani supoorter Sukha Duneke shot dead in Canada. He was reportedly killed in Winnipeg, Canada.

Update at 10:00 a.m. EDT from two of India’s many news sites, with a partial search of the Rantburg archives:
Lawrance Bishnoi and Jaggu Bhagwanpuria gangs claim responsibility for Sukha Duneke's killing in Canada

[TimesOfIndia] In a significant escalation of a long-standing feud, rival groups led by Lawrance Bishnoi and Jaggu Bhagwanpuria have separately grabbed credit for the murder of Sukha Duneke in Winnipeg, Canada.

The conflict between the groups has spilled over to social media, with both factions asserting their involvement in Duneke's liquidation. Notably, both groups have alleged that Sandeep Nangal Ambian's killing was orchestrated by Sukha and have hinted at the possibility of more assassinations.

The backdrop to this ongoing feud includes the incident on February 26 when two associates of Bhagwanpuria were killed in Goindwal jail in Tarn Taran. These individuals were allegedly targeted by members affiliated with Lawrance Bishnoi's group, and all were incarcerated in connection with the Sidhu Moose Wala murder case.

Currently, both Lawrance and Bhagwanpuria are behind bars, facing charges related to the murder of rapper Sidhu Moose Wala, among numerous other cases. It is believed that members of their respective groups are operating their social media accounts.

In a social media post, Lawrance Bishnoi's faction grabbed credit for Sukha Duneke's killing, asserting that he was addicted to heroin and responsible for multiple deaths, including those of Gurlal Brar, Vicky Middukhera, and Nangal Ambian. The post further warned that those still affiliated with Sukha, no matter where they are located, will eventually face consequences, even if it takes time.

On the other hand, Jaggu Bhagwanpuria's group posted on social media, taking responsibility for Sukha Duneke's murder. They cited avenging Nangal Ambian's killing, which they claim was carried out at Sukha's behest, as their motive. The group's post also issued a warning to individuals opposing their faction, cautioning them to be prepared for the possibility of death, as it could strike anywhere.

[OneIndia] Gangsters Goldy Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi have claimed responsibility for the killing of Sukhdool Singh alias Sukha Duneke, a member of the Davinder Bambiha gang, in Canada.

According to Canadian intelligence reports, Sukhdool Singh, also known as Sukha Duneke, was killed in a gang-related shooting on Wednesday night. This incident bears similarities to the killing of terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, who was also shot dead in Surrey, Canada, on June 18 in what is believed to have been a gang-related attack.

Here are the Top Updates:

  • Gangsters Goldy Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi have claimed responsibility for the killing of Sukhdool Singh, also known as Sukha Duneke, who was affiliated with the Davinder Bambiha gang in Canada.

  • Canadian intelligence sources report that Sukhdool Singh, linked to the Davinder Bambiha gang from Moga district, met his demise during a gunfight between rival gangs, mirroring the circumstances surrounding the killing of terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Surrey on June 18, where Nijjar was targeted by rival gang members who fired around 15 bullets at him.

  • Punjab Police has initiated a crackdown against gangster Goldy Brar, with a series of raids spanning various locations across the state. This operation, led by multiple police teams and high-ranking officials, commenced at 7 am.

  • Goldy Brar is the prime suspect in the murder of singer Sidhu Moosewala (Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu), who was fatally shot in Mansa district on May 29 of the previous year. Brar, also known as Satinderjeet Singh, originally hails from Sri Muktsar Sahib in Punjab and migrated to Canada in 2017 on a student visa. He is a prominent member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Eagle Pass, Texas declares state of emergency with 4,000 streaming across border TODAY
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] As roughly 4,000 migrants have crossed the border at Eagle Pass, Texas, in a day, the town issued an emergency declaration as it tries to combat the flood of illegal immigrants coming from Mexico.

Border patrol sources said they join approximately 7,500 other migrants who have handed themselves in over the last week.

According to a source with the Texas Department of Public Safety, a large migrant caravan crossed the Rio Grande, and the thousands are now being held under the bridge in Eagle Pass, with more reportedly on the way, ABC News 7 reported.

Mayor Rolando Salinas of Eagle Pass signed an Emergency Declaration after the new surge of migrants started arriving at the weekend.

Salinas also stated the city of Eagle Pass would not be opening a shelter: 'We don't have the funds or resources to do that.'

Videos posted to social media show hordes of migrants in Eagle Pass, as lax policies by the Biden Administration continue to allow floods of aliens into the US and inundate southern cities.

Hundreds of African migrants sneak into the US in broad daylight after exploiting immigration loophole in Nicaragua that allows them in with no questions asked for just $160
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] DailyMail.com traveled to Lukeville, Arizona, and saw at least 600 migrants, many of them African refugees, crossing the southern border on one day alone

Baba, a mechanic from the West African nation of Mauritania threw himself to the ground and prayed seconds after squeezing through the steel fence at the Mexican border in Arizona.
Skinny enough to squeeze between the bars.
'Joe Biden opened the door for us,' he gleefully yelled as dusk fell and the migrants waited to be picked up and processed by U.S. authorities.

'I wanted to come here to be free. You cannot put a price on freedom,' added Baba, one of an increasing number of migrants from several African countries who are now joining the influx along the southern border.

But while Baba, 25, thanked Biden's border control policies for the chance of a new life in America, there is really one other person he should be showing his gratitude to.

That man is Daniel Ortega, the 77-year-old long-time strongman in Nicaragua, a close ally of the late Cuban dictator Fidel Castro and an implacable foe of the United States which has imposed sanctions on his country.

For Nicaragua is now playing an increasingly important role in the migrant crisis, allowing in people from all over the world for a $160 fee and then turning a blind eye to where they go next, DailyMail.com has learned. In fact, a regular tourist visa costs just $10, according to the U.S. Embassy there, suggesting the smugglers are getting a hefty mark-up.

Soft-touch entry requirements for nationals of a slew of African countries mean they can purchase a low-cost visa on arrival in its capital, Managua, without any proof of onward travel.

Baba, like many of the young men that DailyMail.com spoke to, claimed that he had paid the $160 for paperwork allowing him to enter that country.

Officials then appear to turn a blind eye to the lucrative people-smuggling business occurring right under their noses, effectively creating a back door into the U.S.

Brazen smugglers even boast on TikTok of how potential asylum-seekers are 'guaranteed' to be let into America once they arrive at its border with Mexico.

'Come and live this experience with us,' says one French language post. 'Next departure is September 18, Ins'allah.' Another read: 'Must be financially prepared and ready for adventure. Once in Mexico you enter the USA without worries so relax.'

The posts promise cheap deals on airfares from West Africa, although who exactly is raking in the proceeds of those sales remains unclear.

It could give rise to the suspicion that Ortega, a long-time foe of the United States whose wife and children have been hit by sanctions, is weaponizing the flow of migrants barely a year before what will be a hotly contested presidential election.

Baba, who was sporting a Liverpool F.C. jersey like his soccer idol Mohammed Salah, came through in Lukeville, Arizona, a tiny town of just 40 people across the border from Sonoyta in the Mexican state of Sonora.

On Saturday, DailyMail.com witnessed at least 600 enter in Lukeville. Coyotes, who were paid to escort them through, cut holes in the fence that is supposed to keep them out.

For the migrants it was the end of what was for some a month-long journey. Baba flew a total of more than 11,300 miles to get to the United States and then had a 3,000 mile trek on land.

'I flew from Mauritania to Istanbul,' Baba explained, barely able to contain his joy at reaching Arizona. 'From there, we took a flight to Bogota in Colombia.

'Once we landed in Colombia, we went to El Salvador and then to Nicaragua.

'It was only there that we left the airport.'

Once he had landed, Baba still had a long and dangerous trek through Central America and Mexico ahead of him. But he had landed in the Americas and now the United States beckoned.

Baba blamed 'repression' in his homeland as his reason for fleeing.

In the process fourteen trees and a pond were also sent to Hell, though what Hell means to a small body of water is beyond my imagination.

Security forces neutralize four ISIS militants involved in killing civilians in al-Anbar
[Shafaq News] Iraq's Security Media Cell (SMC) on Wednesday announced the elimination of four ISIS members who had earlier this week paraded the murder of two civilians in al-Anbar.

"Through the diligent efforts of the Joint Operations Command and the ongoing field monitoring by the ground forces command, a force from the heroes of the Popular Mobilization Forces, specifically Team (T1) led by fighter Mandol al-Jughayfi, managed to set up a well-planned ambush, neutralizing four murderous Moslems following several days of surveillance," SMC said in a blurb.

The group was involved cold-bloodedly killing two citizens in al-Anbar, western Iraq, a few days prior; an act they later portrayed with a demonstration of their murderous methodology via online platforms.

Social media platforms were abuzz with the disturbing footage showing the group mercilessly beheading two kidnapped civilians.

Materials for makeshift bomb found in cell of maximum security prisoner
[IsraelTimes] Batteries, wires with metal leads, flammable chemical, schematic and makeshift knife discovered under bed of man serving life sentence; it’s not the first time, Prison Service says

Parts of a makeshift bomb were found in the cell of an inmate serving a life sentence in a prison in southern Israel, authorities said Wednesday.
"It's for personal use, man"
Guards searching the cell of the inmate at Ohalei Keidar Prison, a maximum security facility near Beersheba, found the partially constructed makeshift explosive under the inmate’s mattress Monday, according to the Israel Prison Service.

The improvised explosive included batteries, wires with metal leads and a small bottle of an undisclosed flammable chemical, apparently contained within a coffee canister.

Guards also found a hand-drawn schematic for an bomb and a improvised knife.

The search was carried out following a tip received by the Prison Service, the Ynet news site reported.

The inmate was named by the Walla news site as Osama Abu Diab, who is serving a life sentence for killing his fiancée and burning her body.

A Prison Service official was quoted saying that the inmate had tried in the past to construct a bomb, but that attempt was also foiled.

Hamas says two wounded by Israeli fire during daily riot on Gaza border
*Yawn* It’s really aimed at getting Qatar to pay more to account for inflation.

Strip reports two maimed by Israeli fire amid the latest rioting on the border with Israel.

The Israel Defense Forces has been responding to the near-daily riots with crowd dispersal means and live fire in some cases.

Paleostinians have been detonating bombs and setting tires on fire along the border for four days in a row. There have been several more riots in recent weeks.

The Erez Crossing with Gaza has also remained shut in response to the recent violence, and is not expected to reopen unless Hamas works to end the riots, according to Israeli officials.

Israel Airport Authority: GPS jamming forcing planes to land using alternative routes
[IsraelTimes] After noise complaints from West Bank settlements, authority cryptically says disruptions likely caused by forces outside the country; Russia was blamed for interference in past.

Incessant GPS interference by unknown forces has recently forced planes landing at Ben Gurion Airport to use alternate routes over West Bank settlements in recent months, the Israel Airports Authority said Wednesday.

The cryptic IAA statement came in response to complaints by the Binyamin Regional Council in the West Bank on behalf of its residents — particularly from those living in the settlement of Hashmonaim — over intolerable noise from planes constantly passing above.

"In recent months, the State of of Israel has experienced non-stop GPS jamming from unknown sources, likely from outside the country," Iris Raz, head of the environmental and engineering division of the IAA wrote, adding that planes are often unable to land using the usual approach.

Because of the disruptions, planes are forced to use a method that carries them over Modi’in Illit, Hashmonaim, Lapid and Kfar HaOranim. Airport activities have not been harmed by the issue.

Channel 12 reported that authorities were looking for a solution.

According to the network, authorities are investigating if Russia’s cyberwarfare units based in neighboring Syria — where its troops are propping up Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad

’s regime — and across the region are responsible for the interference.

Russia has denied allegations by Israel in the past that it was responsible for GPS jamming of flights around Ben Gurion Airport.

Moscow has in the past been accused of using a form of electronic warfare known as "spoofing" as a defensive measure despite the disruptions it causes to nearby aircraft and ships.

According to the Israeli Airline Pilots Association, spoofing sees GPS receive incorrect location data from a transmitter, making it appear to the pilot as though the aircraft is in a different location, sometimes miles away. As the GPS receiver continues to show location information, it does not immediately appear as a malfunction.

Binyamin Regional Council chair Yisrael Gantz said in a statement he was in regular contact with the IAA in order to solve the issue.

"We understand that there are constraints at the security and technological level, but we will continue the ongoing conversation with IAA officials to find alternatives and solutions to the issue," he said.

Palestinian killed during clashes with IDF near Jericho, bringing daily toll to 6
[IsraelTimes] PA health ministry reports death of 19-year-old from Aqabat Jabr, where Israeli forces have carried out numerous raids since February terror shooting by resident of camp

A Paleostinian man was reportedly killed early Wednesday during festivities between button men and Israeli forces near the West Bank city of Jericho.

The Paleostinian Authority’s health ministry said the 19-year-old was fatally shot during an IDF operation in the Aqabat Jabr refugee camp, without further elaborating.

He was later named on Paleostinian social media as Durgham al-Akhras.

The Israel Defense Forces later said troops opened fire after Paleostinians hurled bombs at them them while carrying out an arrest raid in in Aqabat Jabr, one of several across the West Bank overnight.

"The soldiers fired at a terrorist who threw an explosive toward them and neutralized him," a statement from the military said.

No IDF troops were hurt.

Israeli security forces have carried out numerous operations in the camp this year after Israeli-American Elan Ganeles was killed in late February in a nearby terror shooting.

The accused terrorist and driver both hailed from Aqabat Jabr and security forces have moved to demolish the former’s home.

Along with the operation in Aqabat Jabr, the IDF said troops operated in Hebron and numerous other Paleostinian towns, arresting 12 suspects and seizing numerous weapons and ammunition.

According to the military, soldiers were also met with violence during a raid in Qatanna, where they used riot dispersal means and had gun sex in response to Paleostinians hurling bricks from roofs and shooting fireworks at them. No troops were maimed there either.

Violence has surged across the region over the past year and a half, with a rise in Paleostinian shooting attacks against Israeli civilians and troops in the West Bank, near-nightly arrest raids by the military, and an uptick in Dire Revenge attacks by krazed killer Jewish settlers against Paleostinians.

Paleostinian attacks in Israel and the West Bank since the beginning of the year have left 27 civilians and three soldiers dead, and several others seriously maimed.

According to a tally by The Times of Israel, 186 West Bank and East Jerusalem Paleostinians have been killed during the same period — the majority during festivities with security forces or while carrying out attacks, but some were uninvolved civilians and others were killed under unclear circumstances, including by armed Israeli settlers.
