SNA, Allied Militia Recover Vast Areas in Hiiraan Region from Al-Shabaab
[PUBLISH.TWITTER]

Government forces and allied militias have captured several territories in Hiiraan region this past week following intense operations, the military said.

Mali: Minusma hands over one of its last camps to the authorities
[AFRICANEWS] On Friday, the UN mission in Mali handed over one of its last camps in the country to the national authorities before the end of its definitive withdrawal, as demanded by the ruling junta, a Minusma spokeswoman said.

Minusma handed over to the Malian authorities the Mopti camp in the center of the country, one of the hotbeds of jihadism and violence that have been bloodying the Sahel for years.

The handover went off without a hitch, unlike the recent handover of camps in the north, where the Minusma had precipitated its departure under the pressure of military escalation between the army and gangs, said Fatoumata Kaba in a written message to AFP.

The camp was most recently home to peacekeepers from Bangladesh and Togo. In the past, it has also hosted Egyptian, Pak and Senegal
... a nation of about 14 million on the west coast of Africa bordering Mauretania to the north, Mali to the east, and a pair of Guineas to the south, one of them Bissau. It is 90 percent Mohammedan and has more than 80 political parties. Its primary purpose seems to be absorbing refugees...
ese contingents.

With the disengagement from Mopti, Minusma enters the home stretch. The UN Security Council has given it until December 31 to complete its withdrawal.

On Monday, Minusma is organizing a ceremony to close its headquarters on the outskirts of the capital Bamako. This ceremony will mark the end of the mission, said Fatoumata Kaba.

The colonels who took power by force in 2020 in Bamako demanded in June, after months of deteriorating relations, the immediate departure of the Minusma deployed since 2013 in this country in the grip of a deep multidimensional crisis. The Security Council terminated the mission's mandate on June 30.

Since then, the Minusma, whose strength has hovered around 15,000 soldiers and coppers and whose more than 180 members have been killed in hostile acts, has staggered the handovers. It has yet to close the sites in Bamako, Gao and Timbuktu (north), where what the UN calls the "liquidation" of the mission will take place after January 1. This will involve, for example, handing over the last remaining equipment to the authorities or terminating existing contracts.

UAE expels three Sudanese diplomats amid escalating tensions
[SUDANTRIBUNE] A Sudanese official source has confirmed that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has officially declared three Sudanese diplomats persona non grata and demanded their immediate departure from the country within 48 hours.

This diplomatic development follows a series of scathing remarks made by Sudanese Assistant Commander-in-Chief, Lt Gen Yasir al-Atta, criticizing the UAE’s alleged support for the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

Al-Atta’s comments, delivered during a speech at a military headquarters on November 27, labelled the UAE as a “mafia state.”

In response to this diplomatic salvo, the UAE informed Sudanese Ambassador Abdel Rahman Sharafi that the three diplomats Military attaché and his deputy – Brig Gen Ahmed Abdel Rahman al-Bashir, Lt Col Mudathir Osman, and the Cultural Attaché Mohamed al-Dhai– were unwelcome and had to leave UAE territory forthwith.

This action marks a significant escalation in the diplomatic relations between the two countries, as no diplomats have been expelled or summoned in their entire history of bilateral ties.

Previously, the UAE had been accused by foreign media of providing material and financial support to the RSF in its ongoing conflict with the Sudanese military. However, UAE authorities have consistently denied these allegations.

Western diplomats have observed that Dubai has maintained this denial stance even in official meetings while reiterating its support for dialogue as a means to resolve the conflict.

This latest diplomatic move suggests that the UAE is taking a more assertive stance in response to Al-Atta’s provocative statements.

Britain
Thousands march in London pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel rally
Much reduced from the hundreds of thousands who marched for Hamas previously.
[IsraelTimes] Officials say some 15,000-20,000 people are in attendance at the weekly pro-Paleostinian, anti-Israel rally in London.

Police say a man was arrested on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offense for a placard comparing Israel to Nazi Germany.

Images and videos posted to social media appear to show other anti-Israel placards as well as chants.

The activists say they are marching for a full ceasefire in the war between Israel and the Hamas
...a regional Iranian catspaw,...
terror group — a temporary truce ended last week after it was violated by Hamas.

The march comes a day after the United States vetoed a UN Security Council ceasefire resolution which failed to condemn Hamas’s October 7 massacres in Israel — in which thousands of murderous Moslems killed about 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and took about 240 hostages — or to acknowledge Israel’s right to defend itself.

UK police said searching for demonstrator who carried ‘final solution’ placard

[IsraelTimes] Britain’s Metropolitan Police is reportedly searching for a demonstrator in today’s anti-Israel rally in London who carried a placard appearing to call for “The final solution” against the Jewish state — the term used by Nazi Germany as code for their plan to exterminate all Jews during the Holocaust.

While the police have said they made 13 arrests today of people who carried posters deemed offensive, a spokesperson for the Met has been quoted by the Daily Mail as saying the force is “not aware of any arrests in relation to this specific placard.”

However, the spokesperson adds, “officers are aware of the image and are actively investigating.”

The Ministry of Public Security (Interior) identified the Somali as Ali Abdinuur Ahmed and said the suspect was in the access area of the Temporary Care Center for Migrant Persons (CATEM) in the southern area of Costa Rica, about 10 km from the border with Panama.

Europe
Israel Confirms Mossad Helps Foil Iranian Terror Attack in Cyprus
[Breitbart] The Mossad said Sunday that Iran has escalated attempts to harm Israelis across the world since October 7, pointing to the arrest of two Iranians linked to a plot to commit a terror attack in Cyprus as evidence of the heightened threat.

The Jerusalem Post reports the Iranians have been detained with the help of the Mossad for questioning over suspected planning of attacks on Israeli citizens living on the island.

The two individuals were believed to be in the early stages of gathering intelligence on potential Israeli targets, the Kathimerini Cyprus newspaper said without citing sources.

The paper added that the Iranians were political refugees in contact with a person linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

The Israel Prime Minister’s Office says — on behalf of the Mossad and the National Security Agency — that the cell’s arrest was enabled by intelligence information about the terrorists, their methods of operation and the intended targets, according to the Times of Israel.

A senior Cyprus official declined to comment, citing policy on issues concerning national security.

Cyprus, an island country located in the eastern Mediterranean Sea, has long been a popular holiday and investment choice for Israelis.

The Post report highlights Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in June said an Iranian attack against Israeli targets in Cyprus had been thwarted.

Tehran denied being behind any plots to attack Israelis in European Union member Cyprus.
The Times of Israel names names:
According to the statement, Cypriot security forces uncovered and thwarted the plot in early November, in collaboration with the Mossad. The two suspects, named as Mohammad Reza Ebadi Arablu and Sa’id Ebadi, have been detained since.

Arablu is a known terror operative, suspected of involvement in a 2022 Iran-backed attempt to assassinate a prominent Israel-Georgian businessman living in Tbilisi. The extraterritorial arm of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the Quds Force, was implicated in the Georgia assassination plot.

The Cypriot investigation also uncovered a number of fake identity documents used by the two Iranian suspects, who were said to be political refugees with ties to the IRGC.

The foiled attack is “yet another example of the proxy method not working for Iranian terror organizations,” the PMO statement declared, adding that it came against the backdrop of a sharp rise in Iranian-backed terror attempts on Israel and its citizens since October 7.

A series of rockets targeted the US embassy in Baghdad in the early hours of Friday, causing no casualties. The attack prompted Washington to call on Baghdad to protect diplomatic missions in the country, adding the US reserves the right to defend itself.

The headquarters of the Iraqi National Security Service in Baghdad, Erbil International Airport, and a civilian building near the airport were also hit with drones and rockets on Friday.

State Department bypasses congressional review to approve tank ammunition sale with Israel
[Washington Examiner] The State Department approved a multimillion-dollar sale to provide 13,000 rounds of tank ammunition to Israel amid its war against Hamas, bypassing congressional review that is typically required for arms sales to foreign nations.

Department officials notified Congress that they would be moving forward with the $106.5 million sale in a late-night announcement on Friday, justifying the decision by calling the current situation in Israel an "emergency" that "requires the immediate sale to the Government of Israel of the above defense articles and services in the national security interests of the United States." The approval comes despite congressional committees not yet completing a separate review of a larger order made by Israel earlier this week.

Overweight Hamas Gunman surrender caught on camera
[IsraelTimes] Footage leaked Saturday from the northern Gaza Strip showed an apparent Hamas operative handing over an assault rifle while surrendering with dozens of Palestinian men to Israeli troops, as IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi said the military was beginning to see the collapse of the terror group’s governing system in the coastal enclave.

; IDF toll in ground op at 97

Israeli forces fought a string of battles with Hamas bandidos forces of Evil in northern Gaza on Saturday as they pressed ahead with the ground offensive, with troops being attacked in at least two instances from within schools, the military said.

Another 12 soldiers from several units were seriously maimed in fighting over the weekend.

On Friday, the IDF announced that two soldiers were seriously maimed in a failed attempt
...Curses! Foiled again!...
to rescue further hostages.

Following the breakdown of the truce, the IDF resumed its ground offensive in Gaza aimed at destroying Hamas and securing the return of all the hostages. Troops have continued to tighten their hold on northern Gaza cities, but also pushed into Khan Younis in southern Gaza with recent days seeing some of the heaviest fighting of the war.

Amid the continued fighting, Kibbutz Be’eri announced that its resident Sahar Baruch, who was kidnapped and taken hostage in Gaza on October 7, had been murdered while in captivity.

The statement did not detail how and when the 25-year-old died, but it came a day after Hamas released a propaganda video purporting to show his body.

"We demand the return of his body as part of any hostage deal. We won’t stop until everyone is home," said a statement from the kibbutz, one of the worst-hit of the many communities targeted in the October 7 assault on southern Israel, when bandidos forces of Evil stormed across the border, killing some 1,200 people, mostly civilians in their homes and at a music festival, and taking some 240 hostages.

It is believed that 138 hostages remain in Gaza, although in recent days the IDF has confirmed the deaths of 18 of the hostages held by Hamas, due to new intelligence and findings obtained by troops operating in Gaza.

A further 105 civilian hostages were released from Hamas captivity in Gaza during a weeklong truce: 81 Israelis, 23 Thai nationals and one Filipino. In exchange, Israel released 240 Paleostinian security prisoners, all women and minors. Earlier, four hostages were released, one hostage was rescued, and two bodies were recovered.

The IDF also said that Hamas has continued to fire rockets from a "humanitarian zone" established in southern Gaza’s al-Mawasi area. It said that yesterday at 6 p.m. "Hamas bandidos forces of Evil launched numerous rockets into Israel from the designated humanitarian zone."

That rocket fire targeted Tel Aviv.

Another four rockets were fired from the al-Mawasi area at 1:56 p.m. and 2:16 p.m., but "landed in the Gaza Strip and endangered many citizens in Gaza," the IDF said. "This is further proof that Hamas exploits the IDF’s humanitarian zone for terrorist activity."

The IDF published an illustrative graphic showing the locations of the rocket launches from al-Mawasi, as well as an image showing a rocket launcher.

The humanitarian zone in al-Mawasi is an area designated by the IDF as safe for civilians within the Gaza Strip.

The army also said it carried out a series of Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
s across the Strip against Hamas targets.

Residents reported airstrikes and shelling in Gaza’s north and south Saturday, including the city of Rafah, which lies near the Egyptian border.

The overall Paleostinian corpse count in Gaza has surpassed 17,400, the majority of them women and kiddies, according to the health ministry in the Hamas-controlled territory, whose counts do not differentiate between civilians and combatants, nor between those killed by IDF action and those killed by the hundreds of rockets fired at Israel that have fallen short inside Gaza. Israel has said that it believes it has killed at least 7,000 bandidos forces of Evil so far.

Israel holds Hamas responsible for civilian casualties, accusing the bandidos forces of Evil of using civilians as human shields, and says it’s made considerable efforts with its evacuation orders to get civilians out of harm’s way.

SOUTHERN GAZA ASSAULT
In the south, the IDF said its 98th Division continued to battle Hamas in Khan Younis, with the Air Force carrying out strikes on the terror group’s sites. According to the IDF, troops of the Golani Infantry Brigade’s 12th Battalion raided a mosque in the Khan Younis area where Hamas operatives were. It said a bomb exploded near the forces, and the troops directed an attack helicopter to strike Hamas operatives on the roof of the mosque, a number of others who came out of a tunnel, and more button men who were spotted in the area.

Later, an IAF fighter jet destroyed the mosque along with the tunnel infrastructure under it, the IDF said.

Meanwhile,
...back at the railroad tracks, Little Nell tried to kick her bound feet and scream post the snotty handkerchief Scarface Al had stuff into her mouth...
the elite Maglan unit identified three Hamas operatives coming out of a tunnel shaft in central Khan Younis and firing RPGs at the troops, the IDF said. Troops returned fire, killing the button men.

The Maglan troops also dirvected dronezaps on additional Hamas operatives and tunnel shafts in the area, according to the IDF.

The IDF said the elite Duvdevan unit located a Hamas command room being used by operatives to ambush the troops. The soldiers carried out an assault on the building, along with an IAF fighter jet carrying out strikes on another Hamas cell in the area.

Troops of the Givati Infantry Brigade killed a number of Hamas operatives and located numerous tunnel shafts in southern Gaza. The army said the forces destroyed Hamas infrastructure and directed airstrikes on hideouts used by operatives.

The military announced the deaths of five soldiers, four of whom were killed in the fighting in the south: Master Sgt. (res.) Liav Atiya, 25, of the 55th Brigade’s 6623rd Battalion, from Beersheba; Master Sgt. (res.) Omri Ben Shachar, 25, of the 55th Brigade’s 6623rd Battalion, from Givatayim; Staff Sgt. Jonathan Dean Jr Haim, 25, of the Combat Engineering Corps’ 603rd Battalion, from Ramat Gan; and Sgt. Maor Cohen Eisenkot, 19, of the Golani Brigade’s 12th Battalion, from Eilat.

The fifth soldier was Staff Sgt. Haim Meir Edan, 20, of the Golani Brigade’s 12th Battalion, from Rehovot. Edan was maimed on October 7 and succumbed to his wound Saturday.

The army also published video of what it said showed Hamas bandidos forces of Evil apparently taking supplies from Gazook civilians in Gaza City’s Shejaiya neighborhood. The IDF’s Arabic-language spokesperson said the Hamas operatives took the supplies and loaded them onto their vehicle, beat the civilians, and then drove to a location known to be linked to the terror group.

NORTHERN GAZA OPERATION
Footage released by the IDF Saturday afternoon showed troops of Nahal Infantry Brigade’s 931st Battalion battling Hamas operatives in northern Gaza’s Jabaliya. The army said forces received intelligence of Hamas members and weaponry in nearby buildings and led an assault on them.

"The bandidos forces of Evil prepared an ambush in the area and were prepared to attack our forces when they would have moved through the main road. The forces arrived through one of the alleys, behind the enemy, surprised them and fired at the terrorists," the IDF said.

The 931st Battalion encountered and killed other Hamas operatives during battles in Jabaliya over the past day, the IDF said. Several more button men were killed in airstrikes and tank shelling.

Another video released by the IDF showed troops of the Combat Engineering Corps’ elite Yahalom unit battling Hamas operatives at a home in Jabaliya.

The IDF said Yahalom forces received intelligence of Hamas operatives in the area who were planning to attack the troops. It said the forces set out to attack the Hamas sites, and identified suspicious movement in one of the buildings.

The video showed the troops opening fire and hurling grenades into the building. The forces then entered the home and killed two Hamas button men.

Overnight the military said there had again been fierce festivities in the north, with the fighting showing how deeply entrenched the bandidos forces of Evil are inside the civilian fabric of Gaza.

At least two of the festivities took place inside a mosque and schools, including one run by the United Nations
...an idea whose time has gone...
The IDF said Saturday that troops of the Kfir Infantry Brigade encountered a Hamas cell in a school in Gaza City’s Shejaiya neighborhood. The troops killed the button men and later found weapons and military equipment inside the classrooms.

Troops of the Armored Corps operating with the Paratroopers Brigade found and destroyed a tunnel shaft in Shejaiya, which the IDF says was part of a "wide" tunnel network. Another tunnel shaft in the area had an elevator, according to the IDF.

The IDF said troops of the Golani Brigade identified a number of Hamas operatives with anti-tank missiles approaching them in Shejaiya.

The soldiers called in an airstrike, and a combat helicopter killed the operatives, the IDF said.

In Beit Hanoun, the IDF said the 5th Reserve Infantry Brigade came under fire by Hamas operatives shooting from a mosque and a UNRWA school.

The army also released footage showing soldiers finding a sniper rifle and ammunition hidden inside a large teddy bear during searches of a school in the Gaza Strip.

In another nearby school, the IDF said the troops found weapons hidden inside bags bearing the UNRWA logo.

Troops this week also captured the Gaza Strip’s "Paleostine Square," where Hamas had paraded some Israeli hostages during their release amid a ceasefire late last month.

The IDF has taken several media outlets to the area in recent days, with new footage coming out this evening showing an Israeli flag waving at the center of the square. Another clip published online Friday showed troops lighting Hanukkah candles at the square with a giant menorah.

at the beginning of the fighting by hiding in a humanitarian convoy heading southward, the Kan public broadcaster says citing an Israeli official familiar with the details.

Sinwar escaped Gaza City and headed toward south Gaza’s Khan Younis in a vehicle that provided "humanitarian cover," the report says, adding that more precise details of the vehicle are barred from publication at this point.

The report adds that Israel’s assessment is that Sinwar is still in Khan Younis, or rather in one of the tunnels that run underneath it.

ISIS kills seven pro-regime fighters in Syria: Monitor

ISIS "launched a violent mostly peaceful attack targeting positions of regime forces and their proxy militias ... in al-Bukamal countryside in Deir ez-Zor," said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), a Britannia-based war monitor.

"The attack left seven soldiers and turbans dead," it added.

The holy warrior group has been blamed for a string of attacks against Syrian regime forces throughout the year.

In early November, a deadly ISIS attack in the Syrian desert claimed the lives of 34 pro-regime fighters and army soldiers.

In August, an ISIS attack on Syrian army soldiers in the eastern Deir ez-Zor province killed 33, days after ten Syrian soldiers were killed in another ISIS attack in their former stronghold of Raqqa.

According to SOHR, at least 385 members of pro-regime forces and 165 civilians have been killed in ISIS attacks since January.

IDF Syria strike said to kill terror commander’s son; 3 troops hurt on Lebanon border
Follow up to this and this from yesterday.
[IsraelTimes] Hassan Ali Dakdouk’s father thought to be in charge of Hezbollah operations in southern Syria; Hezbollah attacks, IDF strikes continue

The Israel Defense Forces conducted multiple strikes against terror targets in Leb
...an Iranian satrapy currently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozen flavors of Christians, plus Armenians, Georgians, and who knows what else? It is the home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers...
Friday and Saturday, as Hezbollah-led attacks on Israel’s northern frontier continued.

Hezbollah said one of three members killed Friday in an alleged Israeli dronezap in Syria was Hassan Ali Dakdouk — the son of Ali Mussa Dakdouk, thought to be in charge of the terror group’s operations in southern Syria.

Kan news reported that the elder Dakdouk was responsible for training pro-Iranian militias in Iraq with the aim of attacking American forces. He was detained by US forces in Iraq in 2007, but was later released.

Medical officials said Saturday evening that three soldiers had been maimed in Hezbollah attacks on the northern border the previous day. It did not provide details on the attacks.

Rambam Hospital in Haifa said one soldier was brought to the medical center on Friday morning in light condition, after being maimed by shrapnel. Later in the day two soldiers arrived at the hospital after being maimed in a separate attack. One was initially listed at death's door, and was later upgraded to moderate. The second soldier was listed in light-to-moderate condition.

The Israel Football Association’s Referee Association said the seriously maimed soldier was Niv Steif, a soccer referee in Israel’s top league currently doing reserve duty. It said he was injured by an anti-tank missile.

Several rockets targeted Israeli border communities throughout Saturday, causing no injuries. Ground troops responded with artillery at the sources of fire. In one instance, the army said tanks shelled an area near the northern town of Metula "to remove a threat."

Israeli forces carried out various strikes in souther Lebanon, targeting Hezbollah sites. cells and command centers.

Hezbollah-led attacks along the northern border with Lebanon have been constant since the Israel-Hamas
...the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®,...
war began on October 7, when thousands of Death Eaters massacred some 1,200 people, mostly civilians, in Israel and took some 240 hostages. Daily exchanges of fire with Hezbollah, Hamas and other terror groups are raising fears of a broader conflagration.

Friday saw several rockets were fired at IDF posts, and the Iron Dome intercepted a "suspicious aerial target" that entered Israeli airspace, triggering sirens in several communities in the Upper Galilee, the military said. One of the posts near Moshav Mattat suffered damage in the rocket attack, and a number of injuries were reported at the scene.

Troops responded with artillery shelling at the sources of the fire and other terror targets in southern Lebanon, the military said.

Additionally, the IDF stated it carried out a dronezap on a group of armed operatives in the contested Mount Dov area on the Lebanon border overnight.

The skirmishes on the border have resulted in four civilian deaths on the Israeli side, as well as the deaths of six IDF soldiers. There have also been a number of rocket attacks from Syria, without any injuries.

On the Lebanese side, more than 120 have been killed, according to an AFP tally. The toll includes 98 Hezbollah members — some of whom were killed in Syria —, 16 Paleostinian terrorists, at least 14 civilians and three journalists.
