Airstrikes attributed to a US-British coalition hit port cities and small towns in western Yemen on Monday, killing at least 11 people and injuring 14, a spokesperson for Yemen’s internationally recognized government told Rooters.
CENTCOM said it conducted six self-defense strikes on Monday in Houthi controlled areas of Yemen. The strikes destroyed an unmanned underwater vessel and 18 anti-ship missiles — which CENTCOM said presented an imminent threat to merchant vessels and US Navy ships in the region.

Italian police have arrested three Paleostinians based in central Italia who they said were planning attacks in an unspecified country, a police statement said on Monday, with Israel requesting the extradition of one of them.
The three men, living in l’Aquila, about 120 kilometers (75 miles) northeast of Rome, had set up a cell linked to the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the statement said.

A 19-year-old Israel-US dual citizen was killed by Hamas during the Oct. 7 terror attack, and his body is still being held by the terror group, Israeli officials said Tuesday.
Sgt. Itay Chen was serving with the 7th Armored Brigade’s 75th Battalion near the Israel-Gaza border when the early-morning attack took place, the Israel Defense Forces confirmed, according to the Times of Israel.
His death was declared by the Military Rabbinate based on evidence and new intelligence, the outlet explained.
Chen’s family will not hold a funeral or sit shiva — the traditional seven days of mourning — until his body is returned from the Gaza Strip.

Quoting a security spokesman, the report says no significant damage was caused and that an investigation has been opened.
